Business and administration cover many occupations from Office Juniors and Receptionists to Personal Assistants and Supervisors. It involves developing, implementing, maintaining and evaluating various systems that are required for a company to run effectively. If you want a career in this sector, then this Apprenticeship is for you. The Business and Administration Apprenticeship offers a combination of qualifications that will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to work in Administration. To undertake this Apprenticeship, you must be committed and have the determination and motivation to succeed.

Entry Requirements
- Minimum Grade D in English and Maths at GCSE. You will have an initial assessment when you come in for an interview, and this will show the level of English and maths qualifications, known as functional skills, that you will study alongside your apprenticeship.
- Rapid Improvement will work with applicants to help find a suitable employer where possible. However, we always advise anyone looking to undertake an apprenticeship to be actively seeking employment for themselves too.

What can I do next?
The Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to progress on to the Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Business and Administration. Effective administration is vital to every successful business and skilled administrators are always in high demand.
Rapid Improvement holds an annual ‘Employer Awards Event’ to recognise the achievement of employers and their Apprentices. This is an inspirational and motivational celebration of the hard work undertaken and delivered by employers and Apprentices alike. Apprentices who complete their Business & Administration frameworks have been supported by their employers to carry on learning to achieve higher qualifications.
By progressing, Apprentices have opportunities to undertake management qualifications at Level 3 and Level 5. This enables the employer to keep ahead of the competition and enables them to be better placed to identify future Supervisors and Managers.
Once you have completed your Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship, you will be able to progress to a higher-level apprenticeship.
